Lake Authority will present the 7th Annual Candlewood Lake Dragon Boat Race.
This will be held at the Lynn Deming Park and is expected to draw amateur
dragon boat racers from around the area. Participants will be treated to
excellent food, music, paddleboard demos, and a lot of merrymaking. The
equipment will be provided and first timers are welcome to join this fun-filled
event.
4. Boating
Having your own lakefront home in Candlewood Lake also entitles you to the 250 acre stream fed lake with
more than six mile of scenic shoreline and mooring privileges. The lake can be
accessed by using one of the two boat launch ramps. Among the boats that are
usually seen on the lake are ski boats, pleasure boats, pontoon boats, fishing
boats, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, and row boats. For those who do not own
lakefront property, there are available rental dock areas.
